Sunset Game Lodge is an exclusive, luxury lodge situated in the greater Kruger National park area, south east of the town of Hoedspruit, in South Africa's Limpopo province.

The lodge used to be the breakaway game property for the Craven family, hence the comfortable yet unpretentious ambiance of the lodge. The majestic Drakensberg Mountains provide a picturesque backdrop to the Lodge.

The lodge comprises of 6 beautifully selected en-suite rooms, three double and three twin rooms which lead out to the cool sparkling swimming pool. The rooms offer all the luxury amenities required such as hairdryers, air-conditioning and tea and coffee facilities to guarantee a comfortable stay.

Besides a huge variety of activities like big five game drives and white water rafting facilitated by the lodge, we are also within a 30km reach of the Kruger National Park and the world's 3rd largest canyon, the Blyde River Canyon. Should guests wish to take a day trip to either, transfers are available to those that prefer minimal effort in getting there. If relaxing at the lodge is favoured, then enjoy an abundance of more than 200 bird species, of which some are endangered and thrive in this area we call our "African jewel."

So when the day starts to wane and the sounds and scents of the African night close in, unwind with drinks on the deck and let Africa work her magic. Those interested in lodge cuisine, can observe our chef prepare a delectable South African meal whilst enjoying a glass of wine from our boutique wine selection.
