Situated in 2.5 acres of tropical gardens, which give host to a wide variety of birdlife, Sunbird Lodge is the perfect place to relax and let your stress melt away. We are a family run business with the emphasis firmly on good quality and friendly service.

We are less than 3km from both the Phalaborwa Gate for the Kruger National Park and the renowned Hans Merensky Golf Estate. The CBD of Phalaborwa is less than 2km away making us the perfect choice for the business or leisure traveler.

Accommodation will be provided in either one of 5 twin/double rooms in the main house (all with private access from the garden), 2 twin rooms beside the swimming pool or 1 of 3 twin/ double rooms in the garden. All rooms are good size, en suite and have TV's, fridge's, air conditioning and ceiling fans, tea/coffee making facilities, patios overlooking either the gardens or the swimming pool and are non- smoking. Smoking is permitted on the patio areas.

Facilities at the lodge include a unique African bar with DStv, a good size swimming pool, lapas, a large braii area, secure car parking, laundry services and fax and internet facilities.

Our rates include a full English breakfast along with juices, cereals, fruit and yoghurts. Lunches and dinners can also be provided on request.

There are plenty of activities to keep you occupied, both close by and within 90 minutes drive and we are the perfect base to explore this wonderful region of Limpopo. These activities include the Kruger National Park, cruising down the Olifants River, golf at the challenging Hans Merensky course and many more.

Transfers from Phalaborwa airport and car hire can also be arranged.
