The Pool house is a lovely, spacious 3/4 bed roomed home, offering the
following accommodation;
Master bedroom: This lovely large double aspect room with patio doors
leading out onto the verandah and swimming pool. There is a queen sized 4 poster
bed and a further single bed, so will sleep up to 3 people.
2nd bedroom: Double bed and fold down single bed, providing accommodation
for up to 3 people.
3rd bedroom: Double bed and door leading out onto the side stoep.
Ablution Facilities: Bathroom, shower room and 2 toilets.
Indoor braai room/4th bedroom: This room has double doors that lead out
onto the front verandah and an open fireplace. There is a double sleeper couch
providing a bed for 2 people and an archway through to the open plan
lounge/dining room; this is is the interleading room for the 2nd bedroom so it
is normally used as and when necessary as a bedroom.
Lounge/dining room: This huge open plan room has large sliding doors with
stunning views across the gardens and offers a lovely communal area for everyone
to sit and relax. There is Satellite TV with TOP TV channels and 2 single beds
providing enough beds for up to 12 people.
Large, fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric
frying pan, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc.
There is a gorgeous wrap around verandah with dining area under vine, braai area
and breathtaking views across the gardens, swimming pool, fields and Velorenvlei
lagoon.
There is a private 3 metre wide servitude leading onto the waters' edge and
another pathway leading to the bird hide with a fantastic viewing deck; perfect
for leisurely sundowners whilst witnessing the awesome scenery and bird life.

This delightful property is set in over a hectare of gardens which are
surrounded by fields and the Velorenvlei bird and nature reserve. (Ramsar) The
lawns are perfect for all types of ball games and across the lawns, a few
minutes stroll away is our neighbouring eco tourism farm, which offers our
guests the following facilities;
- Fully licensed bar with wide screen TV
- Restaurant with huge open fireplace in a 300 year old barn
- Outdoor restaurant with fabulous kids play area
- Hire of kayaks, quad bikes and horse riding for all ages
- Bird hide with viewing deck on the lagoon
- Nature walks
Still Waters is located less than 5 kms from Elands Bay north beach, which is
famous for the left break so attracting all types of surfing enthusiasts, and,
at low tide, magical rock pools for the kids to explore. Elands Bay south beach
is great for swimming and stretches for almost 30 kms to Lamberts Bay. Soft pale
yellow sand and you can walk for miles without seeing another sole. Our little
town has 2 general stores, a hotel, bottle store, petrol station, post office,
police station and an ATM machine.
The Velorenvlei lagoon stretches for over 15 kms and is wonderful for fishing,
bird watching, canoeing, sailing, photography and just for its spectacular,
awesome beauty. The sunsets here are out of this world as this area is so
natural and unspoilt.
There are beaches around Baboon point which are also very lovely and in the
caves there are cave paintings which will thrill the visitors!
Lamberts Bay, which is less than 30 kms away has much to offer including a
lovely harbour with bird island, an amazing gannet colony which you can view,
boat trips to view the seals and pretty shoreline and a lovely restaurant (Isabellas).
There are a number of shops, banks, doctors etc and a fabulous array of
restaurants including Muisboskerm (world class boma on the beach).
Lamberts bay also has a golf course and a fabulous winery (Sir Lamberts) all
well worth a visit!! Elands Bay can be accessed from Cape Town along the R27
West coast road, which is tar road all the way and will take you approximately 2
hours (220 kms) Alternatively, you can take the N7 but will have an approximate
20km stretch of dirt road.
