The lovely 160 year old farmhouse has been subdivided into 5 individual self
catering units, each with their own character and charm.
Alternatively, the entire farmhouse can be booked for bigger groups of up to 20
guests.
UNIT 1
This lovely annexe is located at the end of the farmhouse and will feel like
your own little cottage with oregon pine ceilings, stable doors and the
following accommodation:
- Large double bedroom with a cosy lounge area in front of a lovely open
fireplace, the sofa folding out into a three quarter bed.
- En suite bathroom with double shower.
- Separate kitchen with a bar fridge, microwave, mini oven, electric
frying pan, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc.
- Private covered stoep with Weber braai, dining table and chairs and
views across the garden.
- Sleeps 3 to 4 people
UNIT 2
Unit 2 is a large room (approx 35 square metres) located at the rear of the
farmhouse and has open plan areas offering the following facilities:
- Double bed
- Small lounge area with double sleeper couch
- Fully equipped kitchenette area with bar fridge, microwave, 2 plate
stove, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and
cutlery etc
- Dining table and chairs
- Ensuite shower room
- Leads out onto a lovely large stoep with lounge and dining areas and
pretty views across the fields
- Braai facilities in the extensive grounds
- Sleeps up to 4 people
UNIT 3
This large room of approximately 35 square metres has open plan areas giving the
facilities as listed below:
- Double and single beds
- Lounge area
- Fully equipped kitchenette area with a bar fridge, microwave, electric
frying pan, 2 plate stove, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and
cutlery etc.
- Dining table and chairs
- Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath
- Leads out onto a large stoep shared with unit 2
- Braai facilities in the grounds
- Sleeps up to 3 people
UNIT 4
This spacious unit of over 35 square metres is located at the side of the
farmhouse and has the following open plan areas:
- Twin beds, a further single bed and a double sleeper couch
- Lounge area
- Fully equipped kitchenette area with bar fridge, microwave, 2 plate
stove, electric frying pan, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and
cutlery etc
- Dining table and chairs
- Ensuite bathroom with shower
- Braai facilities and outdoor table and chairs
- Lovely views across the fields and gardens
- Sleeps up to 5 people
2 ROOMED UNIT
Located at the front of the farmhouse, this lovely unit consists of 2 separate
rooms:
- Pretty double bedroom of approx 17 square metres with views across the
gardens
- Ensuite bathroom with shower
- Spacious open plan kitchen/lounge of over 42 square metres with reed
ceiling and double aspect windows.
- Fully equipped kitchen at one end of the room with fridge/freezer,
stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery
etc
- Dining table and chairs
- Lounge area at the other end of the room with satellite TV (TOP TV
channels) 2 single beds and a pretty open fireplace
- Double patio doors lead out onto your own large private stoep with
dining area under vine, braai facilities and awesome views across the
gardens, fields and Velorenvlei lagoon.
- Sleeps up to 5 people
The farmhouse can be rented either per unit or as a part or whole of the
property sleeping up to 20 people in total. For groups of up to 32 people, the
entire property can be booked (farmhouse and pool house)
The farmhouse is set in over a hectare of stunning gardens and grounds which has
awesome views across the surrounding fields and Velorenvlei lagoon. There is a
huge communal swimming pool for you to enjoy and rolling lawns giving plenty of
space for fun and games. We have a private pathway leading down to the waters
edge and through our gate is our neighbours' eco tourism farm, offering our
guests the following 'on site' facilities:
- Fully licensed bar
- Restaurant in a 300 year old barn with huge open fireplace
- Outdoor restaurant
- Hire of kayaks, quad bikes and horse riding for all ages
- Bird hide with viewing deck on the lagoon
Still waters offers our guests a very relaxing environment set in a Ramsar
bird and nature reserve bordering the magnificent Velorenvlei lagoon which
stretches for over 15 kilometres. The lagoon is great for fishing, sailing, bird
watching, wind or kite sailing and for witnessing awesome sunsets and jaw
dropping scenery. We also offer a real farm environment with Elands bay beaches
less than 5 kilometres away. Elands bay is famous for its left break so is a
mecca for all types of surfing enthusiasts. The beaches are also great for
swimming, walking, exploring the rock pools at low tide and because they are
unspoilt and just as nature intended.

Elands bay is 220 kms from Cape town and the west coast road (R27) is tar
road all the way!
