St Ives set in the picturesque Natal Midlands is just over an hour from Durban and 4 ½ hours from Johannesburg, only a few kilometers off the N3 toll road, and accessed by fully tarred roads.

St Ives offers 8 suites with en suite bathrooms, fire places, air conditioners and limited satellite television (6 channels). These suites are either single or king size bedded and are equipped with a microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities.

We have a further 6 Luxury Suites, somewhat larger and furnished with super king beds. Facilities in the luxury suites are the same.

A swimming pool, and two thatched lappas with braai facilities service the fourteen rooms. Pool towels, charcoal, plates and cutlery are provided, along with spectacular views.

The very popular St Ives Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 6 days per week is on the property within 200mt of the accommodation. The Restaurant offers a wide variety of gourmet meals on the deck overlooking trout filled waters or in the a la carte restaurant. Catch the game on one of 4 big screens in the sports bar or enjoy a picnic ( provided) beside the dam while enjoying a bit of fly fishing.

A huge playground with 2 jumping castles, 3 trampolines a jungle gym and various activities, including a small animal farm and a resident herd of Blesbok will keep the kids amused for hours.

Also on the property are a fly fishing shop, Rosewood Embroidery and Betty's Trading post selling an eclectic mix of objet d'art, furnishings and artwork.

Activities

5 golf courses with 20 km, Karkloof Canopy Tours, Horse trails, hiking, mountain biking, bass, trout and carp fishing, power boating on the nearby Midmar dam, game viewing and even hot air ballooning or gliding can all be found in the area, as well as a host of shops selling local art and craft as well as specialty imports.
