Smokey Mount is a secure complex, centrally situated in Gloucester Avenue in George. We are offering reasonably priced accommodation in a neat, spacious one-bed roomed flat, which can comfortably house up to four persons. The Smokey Mount slogan is "providing a home away from home".

The flat has a living/dining area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, with a sleeper coach and TV in the living area. The bedroom is comfortable and ensures a good night's rest after a day spent enjoying yourself in this beautiful region. Laundromat facilities are available in the complex and there is undercover parking in front of the flat. An added bonus - the Outeniqua Stadium is within walking distance from where you’ll be staying!

George is a beautiful city in the heart of the Garden Route, 436 km from Cape Town and 330 km from Port Elizabeth. This lovely little city (it has its own cathedral) is bordered by the Outeniqua mountain range in the north and is just a few minutes from the sea. George, positioned centrally, forms an ideal base from which to visit all the Garden Route tourist attractions: an adventurer's paradise, offering easy access to 4 x 4 routes, mountain bike and hiking trails, shark-cage diving in Mossel Bay, the Oudtshoorn. But for those who prefer life at a more leisurely pace, there is also bird watching, sunbathing or gently exploring the area on foot or by car. There are a number of golf courses in the district, including the four at Fancourt, where the President's Cup was played in 2003.

The nearby beaches are magnificent: Herold's Bay, 17 km; and the Wilderness, 15 km. Wilderness is a splendid small town with restaurants, shops and walkways. It is famous for its vast white beaches, as well as for dolphin- and whale spotting.
