The Shifting Whispering Sands guesthouse Bed Walvis Bay Namibia
is situated near the town centre, within walking distance from the lagoon.
It consists of five luxury units with outside entrances. Two units sleep 4
persons and three units sleeps 2 persons. Each unit has own bathroom, fridge, TV
& air conditioner, tee and coffee facilities. All units are luxury decorated and
furnished with cleaning services everyday.
Our breakfast is outstanding and included in the price.
Also available on site are a laundry room with a laundry lady who does the
washing and ironing.
Transport is available from and to the airport and to the various facilities in
and around town.
We have access to the following facilities in and around town:
- Sand boarding,
- Quad biking,
- Zero Gravity jumping,
- Hydro balling, Helicopter flight over the dunes,
- Desert tours to the Moon landscape and the prehistoric Welwitchia
plants,
- Self drive guided dune tours,
- Visits to Sandwich harbour and Pelican point,
- Catamaran cruises,
- Dolphin viewing,
- Fishing as well as kayaking and jet ski riding.
The lagoon is excellent for bird watching due to thousands of seabirds
feeding in the lagoons shallow water. Pelican point is the habitat of thousands
seals.
