We are that close!!
Shaka's Seat is a family run holiday home for all to enjoy. We are literally one
minute's stroll to the beach. Enjoy the warm Indian Ocean, beautiful tidal pools
and Catfish Reef right in front of us. The main Salt Rock beach is just down the
road, with life guards on duty seven days a week. Our new swimming pool with
wooden decking is there for all to enjoy - also has wonderful sea views! There
is a variety of restaurants, takeaways and a superette within a 2km radius. For the church goers, a must is our little Umhlali
Methodist Church set amongst the sugar cane, near Umhlali Village, about 5 kms
away.
Shaka's Seat offers 5 self catering luxury suites, with one garden cottage.
The suites are beautifully furnished and equipped for your every need. Each has
a private, undercover wooden deck with wooden patio furniture to suit. The
close, sea views are stunning. Enjoy the en-suite bathroom, with corner bath,
double vanities, toilet and separate shower. The king size beds are comfortable
and each suite has dining facilities next to the kitchenettes. These come
equipped with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and 2-plate cooker. The wall
mounted flat-screen TV's have selected channels. All the suites are very secure, with their own panic button as an
added extra.
Braai facilities are available either on the rear sundeck, or in the beautiful
landscaped gardens. We have undercover, as well as shady parking areas, with our
electric fencing ensuring good security. The suites are serviced daily, except
on Sundays and public holidays. A launderette is conveniently close by. The
suites comfortably sleep x2 adults, but some can accommodate a smaller child.
Our balustrade does not suit toddlers, but children from 5 years are welcome -
and are deemed adult from 13 years!
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for possible power outages, but
do supply lots of pretty candles! Our garden cottage is private and does not
have a sea view. Comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
Pre-arrival groceries/drinks for a stocked fridge can be arranged on request
