It's all in the name. Serene-estate is synonym for peace and serenity. The architecture and the landscape are decisive for the specific atmosphere. The Dutch design is a mixture of minimalistic architecture and New Forms with the characteristic bent lines.
The brand new guesthouse is located at the border of the famous iSimangoliso Wetland Park. Gardens and park are completely integrated. From your terrace of the rooms (Park View room) you can directly spot a lot of animals like bush buck, red duiker, monkeys, mongoose and a variety of birds and after sunset even hippos and other night animals. From the Top Room (first floor) you have a beautiful view over the park and even views through to the ocean.

The exclusive Park View rooms downstairs are bright and large (50 m2) with one huge window, have a private terrace / garden and comfortable sitting areas in- and outside, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar, satellite DSTV, wall safe, Dutch made king size beds, wireless internet, hair dryer, coffee and tea facilities. Each room has its own colour and lighting accent. The bath room is very luxurious with double basins, separate toilet, large bath and separate shower and towel heater.
The Top Room has the same facilities. Because of the dimensions of the window at the park side and the high open roof construction the atmosphere of this room is very specific.

Facilities included: lounge with reading table, bookcase, coffee, tea and soft drinks, adjoining terrace with real fish pond and roof garden with wide view into the park, deep salt water pool for real swimmers (12 x 5 m') with martini deck and rim flow, at both sides sun decks, private parking area and credit card facilities, laundry service and excursions bookings.
