Nestled against a mountain on an unknown plateau high in the Northern Drakensberg, Seletwane is the ultimate refuge and getaway dream. Seletwane looks east over the Drakensberg escarpment with the protection of a mighty mountain buttress behind it. There is a superb log-and-thatch cabin available.

The Cabin sleeps up to six. Upstairs is two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Downstairs is the lounge, kitchen and dining area. There you will also find a room with two single beds with a spectacular view of the mountain reflecting in the dam. The toilet and shower is also downstairs.

Wood for the fireplace and braai area is for sale.

The cabin operates mainly on solar power however the fridge, stove and shower geysers run on gas. Candles and oil lamps are provided for ambience.

The cabins is fully equipped with towels, linen, cutlery and crockery and under cover parking for one vehicle is provided.

The dams are well stocked with rainbow trout and each cabin has his own dam for its guests private use. There are no rod fees however trout removed from the dam will be charged at R50 per kilogram. Bring your own fly-fishing tackle. Bushman paintings can also be viewed on the farm.

Seletwane is for trout fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birding, nature lovers or ... that most important activity of all, relaxing - and is perfect for couples or groups.
