Rooibos Lodge is located in Kromdraai about 55km outside Bela Bela towards
Thabazimbi.
Rooibos is a 35 ha farm with good security fencing around the whole farm with
two herds of Nyala , Dyker and an abundance of bird life. THIS place is for the
"City Slicker" that loves his City comforts. Never run out of ice, filter coffee
in the morning and plenty of cooling space for the cold ones.
Rooibos have three cottages, each cottage with two en-suite double rooms and a
loft room with 4 single beds. All rooms have ceiling fans, bedding and towels.
Each cottage has an inside braai and an outside boma braai for the person that
like to cook on open fire.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an ice machine, fridge/freezer, gas hob,
filter coffee machine, microwave and an outside beverage fridge in the lapa. All
cottages are fully serviced daily. Each cottage has got undercover parking, an
outside shower and toilet.
While relaxing in the lapa, one experiences the real bushveld feeling with an
abundance of bird life and Nyala on your doorstep at the watering hole. While
enjoying your sunset and smell the bushveld fire you can hear the bush come the
rest for the day.
In this safe and secure environment you can get up early in the morning and take
a leisurely stroll, and enjoy the variety of indigenes trees and flora. Mountain
bikes welcome for the lazy folk.
There are numerous excellent golf courses in the area as well as Private Game
Lodges such as Mabalingwe, Mabula, De Wild Cheetah Farm, Zebula Golf Estate and
Shona Langa just 1km away.
