Warmbaths) and Thabazimbi in Limpopo Province, was once the residence of employees of the Rooiberg Tin Mine. When the mine closed down in the early 1990's the town became deserted and was fast becoming a ghost town.

Fortunately a consortium purchased the town and started selling the houses to private buyers. Now most of the houses have been purchased and renovated, mostly by pensioners looking for a quiet and restful place to retire.

There are a number of private game lodges- and nature reserves in the area, for example Rooiberg Krans, a 700 hectare private game reserve with a wide variety of small game, i.e. impala, nyala, kudu, giraffe, warthog and zebra.

RooiKrans 13 is situated within Rooiberg Krans, Private Game Lodge.
