This is an amazing house with everything you will need!
From entering the house, you just feel so comfortable! Sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean you can relax, with total privacy. Direct access to the beach, very comfortable beds, pool, BBQ. Everything just perfect and our dogs love the house, fully enclosed with space to run and play! But my favourite is the view, absolutely stunning!! Thank you so much Daryn, we are looking forward to the next visit!!

All you need for a blissful beach holiday. Spacious, comfortable home. Aircons in the bedrooms are a lifesaver. A fan or aircon in the kitchen would be a welcome addition. The owner and agent were so accommodating and attentive. We found the freezer space limited but other than that the facilities were great. Lovely, secure yard for pets. Stunning view, I hope the trees do not in front of the house do not eventually block this. A most enjoyable stay.

This holiday house with sea view from the terrace was perfect for us, as we needed to relax and soak up the sun. It is only a walk through the garden to the beach. The pool was great, also the deck and BBQ area. Good communication both with the agent and owner of the house.
We can recommend The Ritz for a holiday. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The view! And then everything else. The convenient access to the beach, our dogs being welcome and space to relax and breathe. Have I mentioned it has a spectacular view? Regardless of the weather. This was the perfect out-of-season winter break-away. We'll be back....

We drove a long way from Nelspruit. When we arrived we were exhausted. But the moment we walked through the front doors into the lounge area and saw the full view of the ocean, we were in awe! Absolutely spectacular view! We settled in and took a very short walk down our private entrance to the beach front...I literally got teary. It was breath taking! Our stay in the house was everything we expected! Super comfy bedrooms. They kitchen is a beautiful size with all the amenities you would require. The lounge are is quite large and extremely comfortable. Open those sliding doors, lie on the couch and listen to the ocean sing to you!! What an incredible experience. Absolutely brilliant!

It's a home away from home but right at the beach. We loved every minute of every day there that we barely left. Everything you need is there and whenever we were short with groceries we used the Checkers 60 Sixty app and delivery was less then an hour.
The house itself is spacious, cosy and literally right on the beach. It's a fantastic fishing spot as well. Beautiful pet friendly garden and secure all round.
Everything in the house works well, is clean and we had no reason to contact the owner for anything.
My only personal gripe was that neither Mr Delivery nor Uber eats delivery go there.
Darren, the owner also ensured that everything was to our satisfaction all the time.
We are busy looking at when we can plan our next trip because The Ritz has not seen the last of us.

The accommodation was really comfortable. I was happy with the main bedroom bed. Kids/adults were comfy in their room. Dogs had a pleasant time too. The views are incredible. So close to the sea and literally a walk to the beach. Just the perfect rest that we needed. Thank you

It was a stunning seaside holiday home, true to the pictures and excellent value for money.
It is spacious and had room for the whole family, including our four-legged friend.

Enjoying the sunrise is always better when you can do it outside on the patio, with a cup of coffee and overlooking the blue ocean right on your doorstep.

We loved the interior and the free WIFI!
Security is always a significant concern, and we appreciated the alarm system being connected to armed response.
No complaints, I recommend this beach home if a relaxing getaway is needed!

Most relaxing place to stay with gorgeous comfortable house with an unobstructed 180 degree view of the sea, a private entrance to the beach and the constant glorious sound of the ocean.

Spent a week in the main house, found it to be well kept, neat and offered all the little extras one would need. The owner was approachable and pro-active with any queries or issues. Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here. Great views, fresh, clean, bright and very well located. Whales and dolphins an added bonus.

Lovely views and affordable especially for a family. Really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Beach Cottage.

Second time we have stayed at the Ritz and hopefully we will stay many more times to come. The house is very comfortable with lots of room to entertain, even a gas stove for load shedding! It has a private entrance on to the beach and it is perfectly pet friendly, even for the big friendly giants. We saw loads of whales not only from the comfort of our patio, but even while lying in bed! Perfect home away from home and on the beach!

Spacious, comfortable house with unbeatable views and easy access to a quiet beach. Great for kids and dogs, perfect braai area for Dad and newly renovated kitchen for Mom!

Beach views were amazing as well as the property, the walk down to the beach was exactly as promised and in our backyard itself.

Would highly recommendate!

The Ritz offers spectacular views - from the deck, the pool, the braai area and from many of the rooms. We were delighted to see scores of dolphin pods during our two-week stay, and the abundance of whales playing near the shore were a joy to watch. The beach is easily accessed through two garden gates and is lovely. It is perfect for taking your furry family for long walks, and the Ritz itself is well fence to keep your pets secure.
The beds are ultra comfy.

The Ritz Beach Cottage is a must for all who enjoy the sun, sea and beach. Enjoy watching the whales and dolphins while having breakfast on the deck overlooking the beach. I will definitely go back there again. Thanks guys.

We had a fantastic holiday. The house and cottage are fully equipped and spacious, all 10 people stayed comfortably. The house is child friendly and secure. We saw lots of whales and dolphins from the patio, the beach is just a quick walk through the garden and clean. We will definitely be coming back :)

We had a wonderful stay, lovely home, with separate cottage, can accommodate 11 guests, amazing views, we saw lots of dolphins and wales, easy private access to the beach within walking distance. The place is clean and comfortable as well as safe.

Great place for up to 2 families, 2nd unit very basic, however if you just need to sleep then its just great. Main unit is comfortable with great patio and sea views including a pool. Rustic, however comfortable and makes for a great stay.

We really had a wonderful holiday! The location is just out of the park excellent, to be able to walk down onto a beautiful 2.5km long stretch of beach directly from the gate at the bottom of the garden is such a privilege. The house is very spacious, the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The security of the house is really very good, contributing to a very safe feel. The Trellidoors, beams and guarded alarm system are great. We unfortunately activated the alarm a couple of times and the response from G4S was extremely fast and the guards actually were concerned about our safety, thank you!!! To sit on the veranda early in the mornings with a healthy mug of condensed milk coffee and look out over the sea is such a Blessing. We have never seen more dolphins and whales on any of our coast holiday's. Pierre was always available, helpful and friendly, even though we hardly needed him.

The Ritz is a place for peacefulness and beauty, the view was to die for and the house was amazing. The modern kitchen leaves much to want for. It is beautifully equipped and designed. The house and cottage is massive with amazing art work by Eve Brown. These paintings were so beautiful and gave each room so much a character and colour. Our holiday was memorable because of this beautiful home. Safety was always a priority from the time we booked, but we felt safe and secure. The pool, home, cottage, view, beach, dolphins & art work all made me want to extend our holiday further, but due to your next booking we where not able to. I would definitely be booking The Ritz again. It felt like home. We didn’t have pets however my son who is 2, loved the place so it's not only pet friendly but its child safe. It’s a place for people that want to get out of the city and want some family time. Some time away from traffic and people. The fresh air, the view and the many beautiful factors all add to this place - being a must see holiday home. If you enjoy art like I do, please see the paintings in each room, it really adds to the experience. The Ritz made my holiday amazing, there was nothing that lacked or negative that I can think of. Beautiful home. Amazing View. I give the Ritz a 10/10.

We enjoyed an awesome weekend away at the Ritz. There were 10 of us adults and there was plenty of space for all of us in the house and cottage. The house is fully equipped so no need to bring any house hold items. We took our 2x dogs and they absolutely loved running around on the grass in the property not to mention the freedom they had on the beach, which is only a very short stroll through the forest onto the sand. The beach is nice and quiet which made us feel like it was our very own. We did a little bit of fishing and caught a King Fish and a large Shad. At the house, the veranda, pool and braai areas all over look the sea with the most amazing views. We spotted plenty of dolphins swimming past as well as turtles, and a very rare sighting (if any) of a Palm Nut Vulture casually flying past over the sand. I would recommend The Ritz to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday away from the stress of life to be enjoyed with friends and family of all ages. Hopefully be back very soon...

We were first impressed by our 2 night stay at the Ritz in July 2017, and even more so on our return 3 night stay recently. Magnificent position in beautiful Blythedale. The private 3 bedroom house has a magnificent unobstructed ocean view from a lovely large elevated covered deck, as well as from the pool area, and direct access from the garden onto the beach. Miles of lovely quiet beach for walking the dogs. Fantastic large safe fully enclosed garden for them too. Plenty off street secure parking. Stayed here with 6 adults and 5 dogs, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Daryn for the lovey welcome package with useful information about the house and the area, and also for the complimentary bottle of Sauvignon Blanc! We will definitely be returning to the Ritz again...

We thoroughly enjoyed our very comfortable and clean stay at the Ritz. We were spoilt by the natural beauty, even seeing Dolphins at play below. Beautiful views on a high level with direct access to the beach. Not a long walk at all. The beach is the most beautiful of all the ones I have ever experienced in South Africa. Our spaniels loved chasing the crabs and running for miles and miles was the order of the day. Sad to have had to leave the place back to reality.

If a peaceful, quiet, safe holiday destination is what you are looking, this is it!!! The views from the bedrooms, lounge and patio are beyond spectacular!!This has to be one of the best locations in the world!! Comfy house, spacious, very dog friendly, the kitchen is better equipped than my own kitchen. You can lie on the deck next to the pool and look at the sea and hear the waves. Access to the litter free beach is through your very secure garden gate. Stunning walks along the beach with dogs for kilometres made my holiday fantastic. I wanted to stay longer than I had booked for but unfortunately the cottage was already booked. I dream of going back and have already booked my next holiday.

We spent two weeks at The Ritz and enjoyed every minute. The setting is amazing! The house is very comfortable and clean with everything you need. Very safe and secure. Enjoyed many walks on the beach without any problems which is a huge plus. Watch the most spectacular sunrises, sunsets and moon risers. Would recommend The Ritz to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday. Ballito very close for shopping and dining. Definitely going back!

We spent the week at the Ritz and it was enjoyable. We didn't want for anything as the house was fully furnished and everything was in working order. Would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach holiday with great views.

We recently visited The Ritz Beach Cottage early this month and found it to have THE most amazing view! PET FRIENDLY was an added bonus as the entire family could go on holiday! The property is fully walled and the grounds are large. The main house is amazing! Gourmet kitchen!! The views are to die for!!! I would recommend this holiday home to everyone!

Highly recommend staying at the Ritz. Clean, comfortable, neat accommodation and great to have the extras like aircons, pool, dishwasher, etc. Lovely views, right on the beach. Nice big garden for kids or dogs to play.

As a large family we had great space and lovely views of whales and dolphins passing by almost daily for the week we've been here.
