My husband and I with our 5year old and his daughter of 12 went to On the Beach in January 2016. It is the first time we went on holiday in-season, and because I did not know Clanstal, I was a little skeptical as to what we would find for the price( it was the cheapest per person I could find).
We were pleasantly surprised at the whole house and all the facilities. We had our own private pool which everyone enjoyed everyday. We were right on the beach and it is a private beach. It was absolutely delightful to not be surrounded by thousands of people. The cleaning lady was very good and very thorough.
The house is a little out of the way and you have to drive to malls and swimming beaches (the sea was a bit rough to my personal taste - I'm a very overprotective mother), but is was worth every kilometer.
It was definitely one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in.
