We stayed over for 3 nights and it was wonderful! This is our favorite place to stay in Dullstroom! We absolutely loved it! We can't wait to come again..It's so peaceful! And you almost never see anyone near you, chalets are far from each other that makes it more private and quiet. Best fishing spot in Dullstroom!!

We booked the 10 sleeper lodge over Christmas 2016. The surroundings are so beautiful but unfortunately no love or care went into the accommodation by the owners. The mattresses are super old and uncomfortable and the same for the bedding, curtains and bathroom rugs and finishes. Although advertised as a 5 bedroom, one bedroom downstairs is a family bedroom with a door going out of the one bedroom and sharing a bathroom inside of the other bedroom. The kitchen cupboards are moldy and run down and the pots not suitable to cater for 10 people, just one bigger pot. We agreed to no service on 25 Dec since everyone deserves a Christmas but had no service on 26th although promised with no explanation. This place can be amazing with a little care and investment in good beds and bedding and comfortable chairs on the verandah.

The Lodge is due for an upgrade during January/February which will include refurbishing the kitchen cupboards, curtains and certain of the mattresses as well as fitting a dishwasher to the unit. I will take note of your other recommendations to make the unit a more practical and comfortable one and really hope that you give us a second chance at a later stage as we do take our guests comments seriously.
