Everything about Burnside is beautiful. The farmhouse is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms have all the modern finishes making the stay there so comfortable. If you are looking for a place to relax, Burnside is a great choice. Whether you sitting on the verandah or in the sun lounge or relaxing in front of the fireplace, you can unwind and just enjoy the Midlands.

Well done Helen, Francy and Issac on running such a stunning farmhouse.

You have thought of everything and more to make Burnside Lodge a home away from home. Your farmhouse is homely, comfortable AND practical. Francy and Issac were so welcoming. Everything worked, it was spotlessly clean, what more can I say. I’m loathe to put a top review as we want to keep it our secret!

This venue is truly spectacular. The environment is very clean and provides you with a sense of "home". Subtle elements of our stay make this venue luxurious. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and allow you to really relax. Will most definitely return for a longer stretch.

We stayed on new years eve. Just one night. Your staff, Yvonne and Stan, OMG, such a great team.
Our welcome was as warm as your abode. These guys treat you like Royalty.
Your home is amazing. I said home, yes. You feel so comfortable. Your linnen, bedding etc is so comfortable. Your style and decor is so appealing to having a holiday, it's worth every penny.
Your little out structure, OMW, my grand children loved it.
The cleanliness in and out is brilliant. Well done. Will be back soon. Thank you for caring for our comfort. Love it.

There are two main things about this lovely old renovated farmhouse - the thoughtfulness of the arrangements and the value for money. Every detail has been taken care of from cleanliness to the well-appointed kitchen to bathrooms with Italian showers and top of the range fittings. All the rooms are comfortably and pleasingly furnished. One can see that the owners have in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry - we wanted for nothing. The staff was attentive and helpful and the owners approachable and accessible. Bird and wild life is abundant and it's an ideal base for exploring the Midlands. We spent four days at Burnside and can't wait to go back there.

We had such a lovely family get away, it was just amazing! and so relaxing. If you want it all and more this is the place. It's beautiful, relaxing and very well equipped. Super cozy and all round very good quality on..... everything!

Burnside is not only set in the most picturesque location and has the most beautiful interior decor but every detail and thoughtful touch has been considered and provided for. The staff that are close at hand to assist are most attentive while respecting your privacy; the environment is warm, welcoming and all the amenities are of superior quality. Had a very relaxing weekend. Beautiful setting, lovely space to sit and relax inside or outside in the veranda or spacious lawn. Three beautifully appointed rooms, 2 ensuite and very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed and everything you need for self catering.
Get for a weekend get away with friends.

A lovely place to relax and unwind. The cottage is lovely and beautifully looked after by Francy and Isaac.
It was so nice to take time to sit on the veranda and unwind in the beautiful surroundings.

We loved everything about the house: from the well equipped kitchen to the cosy enclosed sunroom. Attention to detail is a clearly apparent. The house is fresh and airy. The view from the veranda is so pretty and peaceful. A stroll on the lush lawn could possibly lead to crossing paths with the resident buck - who is actually very shy - you never know your luck! There are plenty of superb restaurants in the vicinity and these are well detailed in a guest information book in your room. The house is serviced. To end: it is wonderful to see an old home being lovingly restored and being given the dignity it so deserves.

My husband and I had the most delightful stay in November. The beautiful old farmhouse set in sweeping lawns and surrounded by majestic trees is little bit of paradise. Absolutely cannot wait to visit again soon.

What a gem. Beautifully furnished, super comfortable, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the best 'stoep' for sitting and admiring the view. Very well positioned close to golf courses, restaurants, pubs .... so glad we found you. Just perfect.
