Origin: The owners of the Baroness were previously at The Steak Baron, Balmoral Guest Lodge. The building was sold this year and the owners and
their staff moved to new revamped premises. The name was changed to The Baroness to incorporate their new menu and look. The Baroness is open from 10
am to 10pm every day Monday to Saturday. The Baroness has an extensive menu ranging from coffee and cake, pub and grill to the scrumptious, widely
diverse restaurant menu. The Pub and Grill menu ranges from sandwiches, tortilla wraps, hamburgers to pizzas. The main restaurant menu includes
salads, superb steaks, chicken, fish, combos and specialties of the house. We are renowned for our superb food in particular our steaks, delicious
lamb shoulder and Black Monster (rump pan-fried in delicious hot spices and onion and served with yogurt)

We specialize in quality food and good service. We are situated in lovely garden surroundings with a stunning pool area. We also grow some
of our vegetables and our garden includes fruit trees. We have a small conference facility that can host up to 20 people comfortably. We cater for
platters, take aways and special functions such as birthday parties etc.
Where are we situated?
As you cross the Orange River into the Eastern Cape, take the first turn off to the left, past the Riverside Lodge and before the Shell Garage-
approximately 100metres to our entrance.
Please note: We have a small conference facility that can host up to
25 people. We also cater for special conference or presentation breakfast and
lunches. We also do platters and special meals for functions, private parties
