Hilda's Kitchen - the restaurant on the beautiful Groote Post wine farm is named after Hildagonda Duckitt, the doyenne of South African cooking who was born and raised on the farm.

Currently the restaurant is housed in the historical Manor House dating back to 1790. Redolent with antiques and collectibles the restaurant serves modern country cuisine to the very highest standard and has been acclaimed as the best new restaurant on the West Coast.

The restaurant is open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday as well as for private functions by arrangement. The venue has become very popular as a wedding venue.

Wine tastings of the award winning Groote Post wines can also be arranged.
