Opened in December 2008, Cafe Jack is the proud creation of David Newark and
Laura Brown, both British who have made South Africa their home for the last 13
years. With spectacular views of the mountains and the sea, Café Jack
specialises in quality food all made on the premises. Laura and David look
forward to welcoming you to Café Jack, where the tag line says it all... "Food.

In winter we are open from 07h00 to 18h00 daily. The restaurant is also open for
dinner by reservation only. We are closed on Wednesdays.
We offer an all day breakfast as well as deluxe sandwiches main meals, and mouth
watering puds.
David not only makes his own pasta with free range eggs, mouthwatering pies and
deluxe cakes, but also his own ice cream so you can be assured of fine home
cooked fare. With a fully stocked bar and state of the art espresso machine
guests are invited to relax on the terrace or on our comfy chairs and sofas and
enjoy the magnificent scenery through the floor to ceiling windows.
With influences from all the cuisines of of the world David loves on one hand to
pay homage to the great classic dishes - some of which date back at least 500
years, and also to invent new dishes that embrace local produce, taste, fun and
simplicity.
We can be found on the main R44 road between Kleinmond and Gordon's Bay, we are
30m from the BP petrol station, at 2663 Clarence Drive, Betty's Bay - look for
the big yellow building on the corner.
