European Restaurant in Hendriksdal,

Hendriksdal is a small village situated in the mountains above
Sabie and surrounded by lush green pine forests.
The restaurant and guest house is housed in the former Hendriksdal Station which dates back to the 1920's. The old Station Master's house has been converted into a casual family run Italian trattoria, offering rural Tuscan dishes. The menu includes a selection of dishes to suite all tastes: fish, poultry, lamb, beef, vegetarian as well as a selection of homemade pastas. We freshly bake Italian style bread in our wood oven. The pasta is made with free range eggs from our chickens wandering around our gardens. Salad greens and herbs are freshly picked in our vegetable gardens before each meal. Our Diners Club award winning wine list has been especially selected to compliment the food.
A selection of artworks by renowned as well as up and coming artists from the Lowveld area are on display in the restaurant.
If you're lucky, a timber train may rumble by during your meal adding charm to the whole experience.
