Quantum Lights offers you a self-catering flat in Pirates Creek a security
village, situated on the Touws River.
Come and enjoy our peaceful surroundings and spectacular sunsets.
The flat has one bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the lounge for
kids.
There is also a private balcony with a small braai.
The swimming pool has a play area for kiddies and braaing facilities.
Wilderness has some of the best beaches along the Garden Route, a 10 minute walk
will take you there.
A canoe is provided for guest to explore the Touws and Serpentine Rives and
abundant bird life. Along the river's edge one may catch a glimpse of Malachite
Kingfisher or one of dozens of other birds from the bird hides located on the
rivers and lakes.
Joplins Steak House is at the entrance to Pirates Creek and is a good
alternative to eating in. The Wilderness village also has many restaurants and
coffee shops.
Wilderness now boasts with its own Spar for shopping or the Garden Route Mall is
10km away.
A Friday night market is held in the Milkwood Village in Wilderness with live
entertainment.
Wilderness abounds with interesting activities. Take a leisurely drive along the
many scenic routes, the "Map of Africa" carved out of the mountain by the river,
or the "Big Tree" reputed to be 800 years old. The Wilderness National Park
.with 10,000ha of lake area, hosts the popular Kingfisher trail. Follow the Bush
Buck or Duikers up one of many secret pathways in the forest surrounding
Wilderness Village.
One can also take a journey, through tunnels, along passes and waterfalls,
enjoying the views of protea and fynbos, with the Outeniqua Power Train in
George.
If you are seeking and adventure holiday Wilderness is the place to be, offering
Paragliding and landing on the Beach, surfing, Abseiling, horse riding, hiking
waterskiing and quad bike riding. For the children there is Kidbuddie, along the
Serpentine or an agricultural exploration of a dairy farm or stud farm. During
the Whale season Southern Right whales can be seen along the Wilderness coast,
as well as from Dolphins Point where dolphins can also be seen.
