Pictures is situated in Oudtshoorn, the heart of the Klein Karoo.

Stylish and peaceful, Pictures is situated in a residential area of Oudtshoorn close to the town center and major tourist attractions. With its warm and comfortable environment, you will feel right at home.

Make yourself at home, with a variety of areas for you to enjoy. Watch the latest news in the sunny guest lounge, chat over a glass of wine on the outside terrace or read a travel magazine whilst sunning yourself at the sparkling pool. Start your day with a delicious home-cooked breakfast served on the covered veranda. Enjoy our homemade bread and jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, cheeses, cold meats and eggs cooked to your liking.

From 1st October until 31st March we serve light evening meals by arrangement and we are fully licensed to sell liquor and we have a good range of wines to compliment your meal.

Our guest house offers three individually decorated bedrooms, all with a 'pictures' theme, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. All our rooms have Satellite TV, DStv, DVD, Hi-Fi, Free Wi-Fi access, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, bathrobes and hairdryer.

A few of our recommended travel suggestions are:

• Visit the world famous Cango Caves.
• A trip to an Ostrich farm - ride an ostrich or just stand on the eggs.
• A drive to Prince Albert via De Rusr and spectacular Meieringpoort gorge and return over the Swartberg Pass back to Oudtshoorn.
• Visit a winery, for example Kango, Bergwater, Grundheim of KARUSA Winery.
• Stroke a wild Cheetah at the Cango Wildlife Ranch.
• Visit one of the best small museums in the country.
• Sample Ostrich at an excellent restaurant. Bookings are made on your behalf.
