Truly an apt description of the view from Otter's Bend cottages.

Situated on the edge of our wine and fruit farm dam, the cottages have easy access to the Breede River and are only 14kms from Bonnievale.

Ibis and Spoonbill cottages are ideal for a relaxing few days or a family holiday. Also perfect for groups of up to 12 people. Each cottage has it's own pier and there is a rowboat and paddle skis for use on the dam. The adventurous can hire a kayak for fun on the river and swimming is allowed. For the fisherman, there are carp and bass in the river and tilapia in the dam.

This is a popular cycling and wine tasting area with excellent cellars nearby. River boat trips, horse riding, 4x4 trails, rock climbing, golfing and many other activities are within easy reach.

Enjoy a sundowner on the patio while starting the barbecue. Firewood is provided.

Otters' Nest is a comfortable en-suite self-catering garden unit with 2 single beds overlooking the farm garden and vineyards.
With private entrance, patio and braai facilities this fully equipped unit is ideal for a couple. There is a kitchenette with a hotplate, microwave and fridge and a dining counter, as well as a small sitting area. A TV. fan and heater are provided for your comfort. The patio has a table and chairs as well as a braai. The dam facilities are available to all our guests.

Facilities include:

• 2 self catering cottages to accommodate 6 persons each containing a main bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with 2 sets of double bunk beds, sleeping 4 persons (these are especially for adults to ensure maximum comfort).
• Adequate heating for the colder days.
• Private bath and shower with separate toilet in each.
• Spacious comfortable lounge with panoramic views, fireplace and TV.
• Fully equipped with linen, crockery and cutlery.
