Ocean Eden is a beach front estate consisting of 3 villas, namely Pearl,
Coral and Cowrie.
Ocean Eden Cowrie is situated right on and has private access directly onto
Pennington main beach where one can enjoy swimming, (lifeguards are on duty on
week-ends and in season), surfing, fishing, snorkeling, exploring the beautiful
rock pools or taking long leisurely walks. For the fisherman a quick 10 minute
walk will get you to Umdoni Point, which is a very popular fishing spot.
Alternatively you can relax in the garden or on the sun loungers on the pool
deck and listen to the ocean lapping on the shore.
The surroundings are very tranquil and secluded with indigenous bush and
abundant bird and wildlife (loeries, grey duiker, dassies etc.) The house is
very secure with electric fencing all round and automated entrance.
The house, which sleeps 8, consists of four bedrooms, 3 of which open up
onto an undercover deck with beautiful sea views. All bedrooms are upstairs and
have air conditioning and built in cupboards. Bed linen is provided. Guests to
bring their own bath and beach towels.
The house has a double garage with automated garage doors and entrance directly
into house, spaciously stylish kitchen with separate scullery, dining room,
lounge, TV, DVD player, DStv (pre-selected channels), 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
(2 en suite), separate guest toilet, pool, jacuzzi, outside undercover verandah
and sundecks with sea views.
The spacious and stunning modern kitchen with granite counters is fully fitted
with gas/electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave etc. There is a separate
scullery with washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen leads into the dining room which leads into the
lounge with TV, DStv and music/DVD system.
The lounge leads out onto the undercover deck which over looks the pool
and garden area, and the Jacuzzi can be found sunken in the corner of the deck.
The house has three bathrooms. The main en suite has shower, corner bath, toilet
and basin. The second en suite has corner bath, toilet and basin.. The other bathroom
has shower, toilet and basin. There is a separate guest toilet and basin
downstairs and an outside shower to rinse off after a swim in the sea.
The house is fully service by a maid and small pets are allowed.
There is a chemist, bottle store & green grocer within walking distance and a 2
minute drive will get you to Umdoni and Selborne Golf Courses. The house
is 30 minutes from Durban International Airport and 45 minutes from Durban. Its
hard to find more luxurious accommodation as close to the ocean as Ocean Eden!
