MyPond Hotel is an exciting, newly built hotel on the banks of the Kowie
River, in Port Alfred.
The emphasis is on comfortable, and affordable, luxury, with stunning river-view
Suites and practical Classic Rooms.
All hot water and air-conditioning is heated/cooled using innovative and very
enviro-friendly geothermal (heat from the earth) technology - a first for South
Africa. Also a vast majority of lighting is low wattage energy saving globes.
The vibrant Etare restaurant, and stunning 60 seater Conference Centre, both
opening out onto the banks of the river, add to the hotel's
'get-away-from-it-all' feel.
The rooms are all en-suite, air-conditioned, with LCD televisions (10 satellite
channels), telephones, universal plug points, fridge and tea/coffee facilities.
The Suites are equipped with I-Pod docking station radios and sleeper couches.
There is also disabled access to all our rooms and a full disabled toilet in our
lobby.
Our pricing is aimed at tempting you to spend that little more - to get a lot
more in value.
Guests also have access to the Swimming Pool, WiFi Internet and a Spa.
We would be delighted to organize days out (boating, game-viewing, golf,
birding, hiking and horse riding). With sufficient notice we are able to
organize airport transfers.
Children
Children are welcome. The suites have sofa beds, and we have two family
rooms. Cots and baths can be provided for babies, but no linen
