Situated on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal just over an hours drive from Durban with direct access from the Battlefields,
Melmoth and Zululand.
The lodge boasts 22 beautifully constructed wooden chalets. Each chalet is fully equipped and sleeps either 4 or 6 people, some with a loft room for the children, and each offers a private sundeck with a barbeque area.
A large sparkling swimming pool and kiddies paddling pool are available exclusively for residents. An easy stroll along a magnificent wooden bridge which crosses the Siyayi River takes one directly to the unspoilt beaches. Guests enjoy the serene atmosphere whilst fishing or walking along the shores of the east coast of Africa.
A bird watchers paradise - experience many bird species in the splendour of this tranquil and peaceful forest. The magnificent Raphia Palms - "The King of the Palms" are unique to the
Mtunzini area, and are home to the very rare Palmnut Vulture.
Nature trails through the dune forest and mangrove swamps uncover many natural treasures. The sound of the sea can be heard in the distance from the serenity of the chalets.
