This beautiful ranch is set on 24ha of property, with the picturesque Little
Mooi River meandering through the fields and horses and buck grazing in the
paddocks, it is a nature lovers dream. The majestic Mount Lebanon stands guard
over the ranch and on a beautiful day, sitting on the veranda can provide hours
of fun for the bird watching enthusiast. Some regular guests are vultures, fish
eagles, marshal eagles crowned eagles, kites and kestrels.
This comfortable and relaxed family ranch boasts 5 double bedrooms and 1 kids
bunk room sleeping 4, all the bedrooms have magnificent views of the mountains.
The farm has 3 bathrooms and 1 guest toilet.
The large kitchen and dining room is fully equipped with a spacious working area
for more than one enthusiastic cook, a large gas oven and hob, an 8 seater
dining room table and a breakfast counter seating 6.
Leading off the kitchen is the piazza area, partially closed with a further
dining table, a fireplace for warmth and ambiance and a large pizza oven. This
is the centre of the ranch, used for cooking, to escape the bad weather,
drinking red wine and chatting to friends.
The large, comfortable lounge leads off the piazza area and is perfect for those
lazy days when a good book and a cup of coffee are the order of the day. Many
nights of monopoly, cards and other board games have been played in front of the
beautiful original fireplace. The lounge is typical of a ranch with reminders of
horses and those who rode them, everywhere. For the fisherman, the bar is an
interesting place to sit and talk about the "one that got away".
