Molteno Guesthouse is a non-smoking establishment, however we do have a smoking area outside.
We have 4 stylishly decorated rooms and can host a total of 10 people. We have one double room and 4 twin rooms each with its own ensuite facilities.
TV, Electric blankets, Heaters, Tea / coffee making facilities, Ironing Board (on request), Hairdryer (on request). Secure parking. Full English breakfast served in cosy dining room. Supper on request. Centrally situated between
Bloemfontein / Port Elizabeth and East London. Situated just off the N6 in the heart of the Stormberg Mountain Range, you will experience of the beauty and tranquility Mother Nature has to offer.
Molteno is officially the coldest town in South Africa. In winter the temperatures ranges between -14 to 10 degrees, but we are well equipped with a lovely log fire in our dining area and each room has it's own heater and warm blankets. Our summers are lovely and sunny. We have a lot of Bushman Rock Art in our mountain range. Molteno is also home to Ouma Rusks and the Stormberg Biltong Factory. On special requests we take tourists on a day tour (R300.00 per person) where you can experience Nature at it's best (3500 feet above sea level) and watch a unforgettable sunset.
