Mokoya Lodge and Sweet Thyme restaurant is a cosy country venue in the Hekpoort valley providing superb settings to create memorable Mokoya experiences. Offering 19 cottage style (on-suite) bedrooms on 27 Hectares of bush (abundant in birdlife and wildlife), this venue is ideal for peaceful getaways; conferencing & team-building; weddings, functions and tailor-made group activities. Our facilities include a 44 person conference room, an adaptable banqueting lapa for functions of up to 120 people, boma for bush dining experiences; volleyball court, swimming pool, vast lawns and natural woodland savannah.

Our Sweet Thyme Restaurant boasts a creative menu of fusion foods in a stylish setting. It's all about the experience of eating and enjoying the surroundings so you have a truly sweet time out! Specialised menus such as sushi and themed evenings are offered.

There is only TV in the banqueting lapa and none in the rooms - rather watch the fire at our Boma under the stars along the magalies river. Ventilated smoking areas are provided, activities and airport transfers can be arranged. The closest town is Krugersdorp (20km) and we are less than 1 hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
