The House is located adjacent to the malaria-free Mokolodi Nature Reserve where
they offer a variety of activities including: game drives, nature walks, rhino
tracking, horseback safari, bird watching, bush lunches and braais - all within
a short 10 minute drive from the city centre.
Accommodation
Mokolodi House boasts four Luxury Rooms and one Suite each furnished with one
goal - real bush luxury. All rooms have big comfortable beds, ceiling fans and
under-floor heating. Guests in the suite enjoy a private viewing deck and a fire
place.
Available is a swimming pool, games room with DStv and a pool table, library and
numerous viewing decks from which to enjoy glorious views of the Gaborone Dam
and the Mokolodi Valley. Guests can also enjoy a secluded picnic or enjoy a walk
among the thorn acacia trees where they may be surprised and delighted by the
resident warthogs and numerous bird-life all within the 5-hactare property.
Fast-speed internet access is available to all guests.Transportation and airport
shuttles available on request.
Meals
Continental breakfast - with gourmet coffee - is served every morning on the
deck overlooking the Gaborone Dam.
However, guests can also enjoy the full service kitchen to cook up their
favorite meals or try out scrumptious traditional Setswana recipes from our
Africa cookbook.
The teak-wood Honesty Bar offers an extensive variety of imported wines and is
an ideal meeting place for guests seeking to meet new friends or unwind after a
long day in the city.
The landmark Mokolodi Restaurant is located a stone throws away at the Mokolodi
Nature Reserve where they serve an a la carte menu and offer a full service bar.
The city also offers a variety of restaurants and takeaways only 10 minutes
away.
