MKUZE FALLS TENTED LODGE
Game Lodge Accommodation
in Magudu near Pongola, Zululand,
KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Mkuze Falls Tented Lodge is uniquely situated on the Mkuze River, overlooking a favorite winter waterhole and sandbank where elephants come to drink and play.
Mkuze Fall Game Reserve offers now a new and adventurous experience: Five "Hemingway" style East African safari tents, each overlooking a game waterhole. Starlit evenings are enjoyed in the boma, and occasionally the pure spirit of Africa is beckoned by the sounds of the Zulu drumbeat.
The evening tones ring forth the call of a Night Jar, Zebra in the distance, Hippopotamus and unexpectedly the roar of the lion or trumpet of the Monarch Elephant.
This tented lodge is a must for nature lovers!
The three-fold isolated tents and decks are raised on stilts, all linked up with wooden walk-ways and positioned to include a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and the river below.
Each tent is appointed with:
- Double/twin beds.
- Viewing Deck.
- Mini Bar.
- Overhead fan.
- Air-conditioning.
- Mosquito nets.
- En-suite facilities with bath and shower.
