Mi-gr8t Bush House has its own unique atmosphere with all the luxuries to
ensure a comfortable and memorable stay in the bush. It is an upmarket, well
appointed, self-catering home with modern fixtures. Rooms have double doors with
louver shutters and mosquito netting that allow for the comfort of a cool breeze
throughout the night while maintaining privacy and being able to listen to the
night sounds of lion, hyena, hippo and nightjars. Two en-suite bedrooms lead
onto a spacious upstairs deck which provides for dining, relaxation, and
opportunities for game viewing or bird watching. Sip sundowners while the
African sun sets in the west and the fish eagles call from the river. The main
bedroom has a queen bed and the en-suite has an oval bath and travertine vanity
shelf. The second bedroom has twin beds and the en-suite has a shower and
vanity.
Downstairs the open plan living area has a guest toilet and leads off to a third
bedroom. This room has twin beds and the en-suite has a shower and vanity basin.
An extra bed in the lounge provides accommodation for another guest or can be
used as a day bed for reading or a nap during the day. A large cool verandah is
an extension of the living area and leads on to an outdoor braai area. All
windows and louvers are fitted with mosquito netting and the bedrooms are
air-conditioned. Ceiling fans keep the living area cool.
African Safari
Marloth park is a conservancy which holds many game species including Impala,
kudu, giraffe, duiker, zebra, wildebeest. It is situated 20km from the Crocodile
Bridge Gate from which one can enjoy a day trip into one of the most game
intensive areas of Kruger Park.
