Manor Fest Mountain Cabins is located on a tranquil mountainside just below the pass between
Hout Bay. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway; a family reunion; or a relaxing holiday. The mountains encompass you; the fresh air leaves you breathless; and the setting is idyllic.
Manor Fest is something completely different - it's rustic, secluded, inviting, enchanting and most of all, very relaxed. It's a place where you can feel at home, where you can find absolute peace and tranquillity.
There are many mountain walks around, one of which is right outside your front door. You are able to walk up the mountain to
Llandudno Beach, or to the famous Suikerbossie Restaurant where you can have a pit-stop and just admire the sea and mountain views.
There are four very charming self-catering log cabins, which have a stunning pool area, and are set in a neat, well maintained garden. Each cabin has its own privacy, where one is able to sip sundowners on the patio or have a braai in the garden. The cabins are comfortably decorated to make you feel at ease and at home.
All cabins have:
- A television with M-Net
- Heating and fans
- Fully equipped kitchens with most appliances
- All linen and bath towels are provided
- Patio table and chairs
- Braai facilities
- Safe parking alongside the cabins, which are behind remote-controlled gates

Cape Ash Cabin comprises a nice sized lounge / television area, which is open-plan to the fully equipped kitchen. Between the lounge and kitchen, there is a 2-seater breakfast nook. The main bedroom is spacious with a double bed, built-in cupboards and has an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom consists of a toilet, hand basin and shower. The cabin has a covered patio with a portable braai, as well as outside patio furniture. The cabin has a wonderful, large and private garden.
Cape Myrtle Cabin comprises a nice sized lounge / television area, which is open-plan to the fully equipped kitchen. Between the lounge and kitchen, there is a 2-seater breakfast nook. The main bedroom is spacious with a double bed, built-in cupboards and has an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom consists of a toilet, hand basin and shower. The cabin has a covered patio with a portable braai, as well as outside patio furniture. The cabin has a small garden.
Cape Chestnut Cabin has a comfortable lounge / television area, which is open-plan to the fully equipped kitchen. Between the lounge and kitchen there is a 4-seater breakfast nook. The main bedroom is spacious with a double bed and built-in cupboards. The second bedroom is a bit smaller and it has two single beds and a free-standing cupboard. There is also the option of a sleeper couch for a fifth person or child. There is one bathroom that comprises of a toilet, hand basin, bath and shower. The cabin has a covered patio with a portable braai, as well as patio furniture. The cabin has a lovely, private garden, and probably has the best views of all.
Cape Lilac Cabin has a comfortable lounge / television area, which is open-plan to the fully equipped kitchen. Between the lounge and kitchen there is a 4-seater breakfast nook. The main bedroom is spacious with twin beds and built-in cupboards. The second bedroom is a bit smaller and it has two single beds and a free-standing cupboard. There is also the option of a sleeper couch for a fifth person or child. There is one bathroom that comprises of a toilet, hand basin, bath and shower. The cabin has a covered patio with a portable braai, as well as patio furniture. The cabin has a lovely garden and is probably our most private.
The many attractions of Hout Bay are all within 5 minutes drive, and Cape Town centre and the
Somerset West. Manor Fest is also within walking distance to the renowned World of Birds.
There are extra services that are made available to the guests during their stay at Manor Fest, such as:

Laundry services can also be arranged at an extra cost.
On arrival at Manor Fest you will be greeted by your hosts, Caryn and John. Your cabin will be furnished with a few basic supplies, as well as flowers, a bottle of wine to get you into the mood, and a small breakfast basket - all to make you feel comfortable and at home.
