Makhato Bush Lodge No 15, located in the 4000ha Sondela Nature Reserve, is situated close to the town Bela-Bela in the Limpopo Province. It is approximately 90 minutes away from Johannesburg International Airport and Sandton.

This luxurious, self-catering chalet with its spacious interior offers accommodation for up to 8 people. It consists of 4 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and with a fan and air conditioner. One of bedrooms has its own balcony overlooking the plains.

There are 3 x king size beds and 1 x 2 single beds; an open plan kitchen and dining room; scullery with 2 fridge/freezers combination; washing machine, dish washer and microwave oven.

The entertainment area consists of a built in braai, bar, ice machine, under counter fridge and a 42" plasma TV. There is also a patio where you can sit around an open fire or just enjoy looking at the vast variety of birds and game gazing close to the cottage.

A communal lapa and swimming pool with braai area is available at no cost. The guests are also entitled to all the other Sondela activities and facilities.

The lodge is fully serviced. In addition guests also have the option of enjoying pre-booked meals.

This is a malaria free and totally safe bushveld game area where visitors can enjoy relaxing walks, cycling, game drives or just watching the sun set over the African plains.
