Lone Creek River Lodge is an award winning luxury boutique hotel situated in
the picturesque town of Sabie, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Surrounded by unspoiled
forests, mountain streams and waterfalls, Lone Creek River Lodge is the perfect
gateway to the Scenic Panorama Route and other major attractions in the area.
Lone Creek River Lodge offers fully serviced, comfortable and luxurious
accommodation in the heart of the Drakensberg Escarpment and guests have the
choice between the River Suites, River Rooms and/or Self-catering Timber
Cottages. A gothic chapel, conference facility, restaurant and swimming pools
are additional facilities for the convenience of our guests. Various other
exciting activities, such as horse riding, fly-fishing, mountain biking, rock
climbing, white water rafting and day tours to various waterfalls can also be
enjoyed in the surrounding areas.

River Suites: 8
Eight suites, with rosewood cupboards, Italian tiles and hand painted
basins, reflect the ultimate in luxury accommodation. The perfect choice for
honeymooners or busy executives. These suites are situated on the banks of the
Sabie River. Each of these suites also have: a separate lounge with open log
fireplace / en-suite bathroom with bath & shower/ French doors with patio
overlooking the Sabie River, forests and mountains / a telephone / linen and
amenities / secure parking. Included are two family suites that can each
accommodate a family of four.

Five tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with its own balcony, overlooking the
fresh water pool, the Sabie River and the beautifully landscaped gardens These
rooms are part of the main Manor House each having a private balcony, en-suite
bathrooms (bath & separate shower) / linen and all amenities / over-head fans /
heaters / telephones / secure parking.

The double storey timber lodges build in an Aspen-style consists of four units
each: two downstairs (B-units, suitable for two guests) and two upstairs units
(A-units, suitable for a family of four or five).
The A-units (upstairs) have: fully equipped kitchens with all cutlery and
crockery / wooden decks with build-in braai (barbeque)/ en-suite bathrooms (bath
& shower) / loft room with twin beds / all linen and amenities / open log
fireplace / fully serviced units / secure undercover parking.
The B-units (downstairs) have: small kitchenette with microwave oven and
bar fridge (no stove) / cutlery and crockery / portable braaier (no deck) /
en-suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath / all linen and amenities /
open log fireplace / secure undercover parking.
Both of these unit types overlook the sparkling rock pool.

The Timber Lodges and the main Manor House are located on either side of the
scenic road leading to the Lone Creek, Bridal Veil and Horse Shoe Falls.
We have a restaurant and lisenced bar on the premises which offer breakfast,
light lunches and full dinners prepared by our qualified chef.
