a 4800 m2 property in
Groblersdal with 9 rooms. 8 double rooms with en-suite
bathroom, 4 DSTV channels, kettle and microwave and 1 family room with a loft
for the kids, bathroom, 4 DSTV channels, kettle and microwave. A choice of 3/4,
queen and king size beds, baby/toddler bed available on request. Secure parking
space. Courtyard with swimming pool and braai (BBQ)-facilities. Lounge area with
a fully licensed sports bar and a pub menu, TV and pool/snooker table. Internet
available at reception. Fantastic garden, ideal for bridal and family
photography. Photographer available on request. Ideal location for Worldcup
Soccer 2010. We are situated in the centre of 6 stadiums (all between 1.5 and
2hrs drive from Lion's Guesthouse).
Activities:
Groblersdal is surrounded by Bush lodges and game reserves. Lion's
guesthouse offers a lot of activities of these lodges and game reserves in an
area of +/- 30 km around Groblersdal: From quad trails, horse trails, game
drives and walks, cheetah feeding to crocodile viewing and lots more. Enjoy the
security of town at night, but spend your day in the bush or play a round of
golf (3 bush golf courses 30km from each other) or spoil yourself at the spa. We
custom make your weekend break or midweek break for you. Just give us a call!
Sport Events: Several national sport events are taking place in and
around Groblersdal. In April every year the Loskop Marathon and Wild challenge
and in June, the Cara Cara bicycle race. All year round you can enjoy our local
off-road bike tracks which are fantastic if you ride a 200cc up to a 450 cc -
jump and race as you never did before !! And for kids as well from 50 cc
upwards.
Meals:
Breakfast is a combination of A La Carte and Buffet. Lunch is not served on the
premises, but lunch-packs can be ordered during dinner and will be given to you
during breakfast. Dinner is a fixed menu. Do you have any specific food
requirements? Please inform us at least 24hrs before arrival.
