Situated 450kms north of Maputo and 26kms south of Inhambane in the "Cabo das
Correntes" BAY OF SEA CURRENTS opposite the beautiful Paindane Reef Bay. The
road requires the use of a 4x4 vehicle. The resort is set in the natural
vegetation of the area. On arrival at the resort one notes the beautifully built
offices.
This magnificent lodge has 5 star up market luxury bricked houses with thatched
roofs, tiled floors, patios, wooden decks and built in braais and sea view
sights of note! Each dwelling is fully equipped with linen, mosquito nets,
cutlery, crockery, electric fridges and deep freezes, gas stoves with ovens and
gas geysers. The houses are beautifully furnished. Most house consist of 4
bedrooms, two with an awesome view of the Indian Ocean, each furnished with a
queen sized bed and plenty of cupboard space with both rooms on suite with
bathrooms superbly furnished. The other two rooms host 2 x single beds and a
bathroom to share. The kitchen, lounge and dining area is open plan and can
cater for 8 people very comfortably. A full time servant is available 7 days a
week and is included in the package with 24 hour security patrols for peace of
mind. This resort is shortly to be electrified by EDM Inhambane so generators
will be on stand by.
The resort is ideal for the Ski-boater, paddle skiers, surf fishing as well as
family/group looking for a tranquil relaxed holiday. You can also go horse
riding on the beach and area. The dwellings are far apart from each other and
all dwellings have access to a private road to the beach so that families can
take part in the water activities in the Bay reef area. Ski boats can easily
access the beach to launch in the coral bay for deep sea angling, snorkeling or
scuba diving. Fishing charters are available and a dive centre is situated on
the premises.
The resort is very accessible to local beach bars and has its own beautiful
beach restaurant. Boat houses and storage facilities is also on the way.
Inhambane, where the airport is located, is only 26km away. There is an airport
transfer service operating between the airport and the resort. Inhambane has
lots of historical sites and scenes, local shops and markets, restaurants and
petrol stations to visit.
