At Leopard's Lair we extend a warm welcome to families. We aim to provide a
relaxing, fun, child-friendly environment.
The farm is ideal for families to enjoy the outdoors together. The typical
farmyard is a thrill for the children, with lambs and calves to feed, goats to
stroke, ostriches to admire, eggs to gather and many more general farming
activities to get involved in.
Relax with your family and friends in a historic thatched cottage set in
beautiful, child-friendly gardens, alive with birds. Bird life is abundant and
varied, with species such as Blue Crane breeding on the farm.
Round off the day with a braai, as the sun sets over the picturesque Lowlands
valley.
Our cottage, which sleeps six, is set at the heart of an active cattle and maize
farm. The farm is located in the malaria-free KZN Midlands, renowned for its
unspoilt beauty, tranquillity and hospitality.
Conveniently located between Johannesburg and Durban, only 10km off the N3,
Estcourt South off-ramp, it is an ideal base from which to explore the many
attractions of the area. The area is crime-free and the roads are safe.
There are ample opportunities for hiking, biking, birding, painting, photography
and farm tracks to explore. Or explore from your quad bike or 4-wheeler - the
choice is yours.
There is one double bed and four single beds sharing and bathroom, kitchen,
lounge and braai/lapa (BBQ) area.
