All rooms are en-suite, each room has DSTV, air conditioning, warm electrical
blankets, tea and coffee facilities. Safe locked parking for your vehicle as
well as a special trailer parking. We are situated within walking distance to
the restaurants for excellent evening meals and we serve a hearty Karoo
breakfast for R45pp which can be arranged on arrival. In wintertime you can
arrange to have breakfast at the warm fireplace.

- The trend has been to stop over in Colesberg en- route to somewhere
else. These days there is so much to do that Colesberg could become your
destination.
- Colesberg features an eclectic mix of buildings and architectural styles
that take you back to a variety of eras.
- Historical interest to see and experience is the house where President
Kruger stayed while in discussions with Lord Lock.
- There is an original Jewish Synagogue built in 1920.
- The restored Ortlepp House built in 1844 is the birth place of Lady
Phillips.
- The wrought iron lamp stands at corner of President Kruger and
Ventershoek Street was erected to commemorate to Queen Victoria's 60th
Jubilees.
- The Colesberg-Kemper Museum is fine 19th century Karoo architecture.
Walking tours of the town are a specialty of the museum
- The museum can also organize tours of farms in the district. Many of the
country's leading merino sheep and race horse studs are in the district.
Coleberg is also well known for it’s game farms. Game rides and hunting can
be arranged for those who enjoy this type of sport
Colesberg lies in typical Karoo veldt and is surrounded by koppies (little
hills). The most famous is Coleskop, which can be seen from a distance of
over 40km and is the landmark of our town.
