Lalaphansi offers three luxurious, fully equipped, tastefully furnished, self-catering apartments. All the apartments have air-conditioned bedrooms, M-Net and Satelite TV and private patios. The apartments vary in size sleeping from 2 to 6 persons and are serviced daily.
Breakfasts, lunches and gourmet dinners are available on request. There are barbeque facilities and a laundry service can be arranged if required. Airport transfers can also be arranged and secure parking is available. Whether for business or pleasure, you are quaranteed a relaxing and comfortable stay at Lalaphansi.
Lalaphansi is located only 30 meters from the beach, which offers good swimming and surfing. Golf, horse riding and exploration of the nearby nature trails is all possible within, or near to, the village. Deep sea fishing & microlight flips available nearby.

About Umdloti
The town takes its name from the Mdloti River which was in turn named after a species of wild tobacco growing on the river banks.
Umdloti is a coastal town situated between the Ohlanga and Mdloti Rivers. The area comprises of a lagoon at the river mouth, a rockenclosed tidal pool, and a narrow coastal belt which is backed by an extremely steep dune system.
The topography of Umdloti has thus resulted in the town being a very popular place to live in or, from a tourist perspective - to visit, as virtually all properties enjoy stunning beach and sea views encompassing dolphin and whale watching.
Lalaphansi is situated next to the ski-boat club which holds a festival in March. Surf-ski fishing can also be arranged and game fishing is also available.

We specialise in tuition for all ages from beginner to intermediate level. Experienced and reliable staff and management. Reasonable rates for both full and part livery. Facilities include use of safe, private estate for outrides, access to the beach, 20m x 60m floodlit sand dressage and jumping arenas, and cross country course.
Gateway Centre
Umdloti is about 5km north of Umhlanga's Gateway Center which is known to be one of the most modern shopping and entertainment malls in the southern hemisphere.
Gateway Theatre of Shopping is more than a shopping mall - it's billed as a 'Theatre of Shopping' offering visitors, much more than the average shopping center. The impressive structure, situated alongside the N2 highway in Umhlanga Rocks, houses a vast array of shops, cinemas and restaurants PLUS a huge standing wave known as DRex, a mega skate park designed by international expert Tony Hawk, the highest climbing wall imaginable and now a go-kart track, putt-putt course and a challenging 4x4 track. It's definitely worth a visit.
