Kwaggashoek is situated 30km from Bergville, nestled in the the Northern
Drakensberg of Kwa Zulu Natal (malaria free area).
It is a popular destination throughout the year with snow fall on the peaks in
the winter months. The winter days are sunny and crisp and cold at night with
little rain.
This Safari Lodge is a wildlife sanctuary with a wide variety of game and
birdlife with spectacular scenery and mountains. Animals roam freely around the
Lodge. The game viewing is excellent and our guests do daily safaris in open
vehicles.
Guests are greeted by majestic sunrises and sunsets, adding to peace and
tranquillity of the area. This private reserve consists of beautiful valleys,
mountain streams and waterfalls.
Our self catering chalet is tastefully decorated in natural colours to create a
warm and welcoming atmosphere to all our guests with a private wooden deck
overlooking the dam.
