Kumkani Country Lodge opened its' doors on 1 April 2003, and means Richmans' den (place of the Lion) and that’s what we have established for our quests. A place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the tranquility Kumkani offers.

A sparkling swimming pool with a beautiful garden as backdrop and rich bird life with ponds boasting swans, geese and various duck species, set the stage for enjoyment. A fully licensed Ladies bar sporting a full size snooker table and big screen TV completes the setting.

Tastefully decorated, en-suite bedrooms with private patios, are equipped with DSTV, air-conditioning, mini bar and tea/coffee facilities. Furthermore a Romantic Honeymoon Suite and a comfortable Family room are available. For peace of mind, Kumkani provides secure on-site under cover parking.

Scrumptious breakfasts are served daily at no extra cost. Dinners are served on request. Kumkani Country Lodge has a fully equipped braai room for the use of our guests. The braai room has a built in braai with table and benches outside to eat at. Nothing beats "braai vleis", good company and Kumkani's fantastic atmosphere!
