BRUTUS..The Brutus Suite is actually more than a suite..it consists of the whole
lower area of the main house..which contains a stunning Double Bedroom
ensuite..a guest toilet...a very spacious lounge with its own fireplace..a large
diningroom which has a table to seat 10 people..a dream kitchen and an outside
patio furnished with a large outdoor table and chairs covered by an umbrella
which is optional open or closed.. ideal for entertaining or just dining in the
evening..or even breakfasting in the morning..add to this the whole private
garden leading off this area and its own heated swimming pool with a deck
surrounded by tropical plants..and the words luxury and leisure spring to
mind..the charm of course goes without saying..Olde worlde and totally authentic
Cape Dutch....all in all a dream holiday experience ..
In-room facilities:
COTTAGE SUITE.. This absolutely charming suite consists of a kitchen with
a table and chairs...for dining if necessary..a divine double bedroom ensuite
with a bath andshower..and a lounge area with a comfortable large couch and
chairs..all decorated with exquisite taste..leading off from the lounge is a
double door opening onto a picture perfect patio..with table and chairs and
umbrella..which is yours to use as you please..and offers privacy and the option
of dining or having breakfast or just perhaps sundowners as you look out at the
stunning mountain views..!! Also of course with the authentic charm of our
Heritage Home..the cottage is a choice which will please your senses and offer
delightful holiday accomodation..there is also a swimming pool available for
guests of the cottage suite ...just perfect !!
NORA SUITE..With a charm all of its own the Nora suite consists of a very
traditional Cape Dutch double bedroom..charmingly decorated..with old style
windows that open on to your own private patio with a large shady tree under
which there is a table and chairs and umbrella for dining, breakfast or
sundowners..The ensuite bathroom is a modern delight with a luxury shower area
and double vanity basin..Also in this unusual suite is a kitchenette with a
table and chairs for dining and a delightful lounge area..Truly an experience of
a bygone area..the Nora suite offers you an idyllic stay..!!
Of course you will also have use of the swimming pool in the main garden area as
well..!!
LOFT SUITE..take a trip up a winding outside staircase to paradise..our
loft suite with its unique features, though smaller than the other suites will
steal your heart away!! At the top of the stairs you will find a large private
tiled patio with views over the mountains and the bay..delightful to say the
least!! A charming teak table and chairs with Umbrella set the scene for
breakfast , or perhaps dinner under the stars..of course sundowners would be a
must!! Pots of Hibuscus and Oleander Flowers compliment this idyllic outside
setting..and two deck chairs and an outdoor shower are the cherry on the top..!!
Now through the double doors to the living area with a pitched white wooden roof
with skylights in each room.. a uniquely decorated lounge/diningroom/kitchenette..a
seperate door leads you into the double bedroom which is so enticing it will
steal your heart away.. a double bed under a skylight..(watch the stars play in
the sky at night as you drift off into dreamland!!) also in the bedroom suite is
a bathroom which has a character of its own ..pebbled floors and a shower and
also a round bath with a seat in it..perfect for sharing a glass of
champagne..!! Our loft suite may be smaller than the other suites but it more
than makes up for size with its charm and stunning patio and views...truly a
special place in the sun !!Guests in the loft suite have use of a swimming pool
in the main garden as well...this suite offers a truly unique experience for the
young at heart romantic !!!!
Our suites have the following facilities:
Wireless lan, Dstv television, DVD, hi-fi, heated towel rails, underfloor
heating, airconditioning or fans, bar fridge stocked with Wine and mixers ,
coffee and tea is provided. Each suite is fully self-catering as well and
cutlery crockery, pots, pans etc are provided as well as cooking facilities. The
bedlinen and towels are of the highest quality pure cotton. Gowns and slippers
as well as bathroom toiletry products are also provided. To welcome you to our
Guest House we provide fresh flowers and a delicious fruit bowl, plus
complimentary Port and crackers !!!
Facilities on site:
Set in a lush fragrant garden with two swimming pools
we offer a relaxing atmosphere with a home away from home feeling..Full Body
Massages by our qualified Ayurvedic Masseuse are also available in our massage
room next to the one pool..a heavenly experience..
We also have a laundry facility on site. We are happy to serve you breakfast on
your own terrace should you require this..each suite has its own private terrace
with a table and chairs and umbrella..perfect for sundowners as well..!! We do
have a seperate outside breakfast area as well..so the choice is yours!! On site
parking is available and our security is first class...All in all a dream stay
is guaranteed...and our friendly staff are always at your disposal to help in
any way they can...Of course rooms are serviced each day as well.
Area Information:
Hout Bay is a unique and charming village set amongst mountains and valleys..
There is a modern shopping centre which contains all you would need from
clothing shops to coffee shops..a pharmacy and a Woolworths store for food and
clothing etc..and there are also a variety of lovely restaurants and other
smaller shops and supermarkets in the village..in fact if you feel like walking
..these amenities are close enough to our Guest House to do so !!....All in all
there is everything one needs in our village to provide you with a holiday of a
lifetime..!!!!! Hout Bay is conveniently situated to Cape Towns City Centre and
the Waterfront which are approx 10 kms away.. as well as offering easy access to
the airport..a mere 20Km drive from Hout Bay. Hout Bay also has easy access to
the main routes around Cape Town..thus offering convenience for your travel
adventures...!!!!!
The village of Hout Bay offers its own unique tourist attractions..i.e. a
beautiful beach surrounded by stunning mountains incorporating the world famous
scenic route of Chapmans Peak..a never to be forgotten outing..also a favourite
with our visitors is our quaint fishing harbour with colourful boats and fresh
fish available at the restaurants situated on the Wharfside...Also available are
Charter Boats which will take you to Robben Island and Seal Island amongst other
exciting excursions for your pleasure.. We are within 10kms of Constantia Wine
Estate which is one of the most famous wine farms in Cape Town..we will also
help you to plan visits to all the other Wine Farms in the Cape area..as well as
arrange horseriding outings on the magnificent Noordhoek Beach..cablecar rides
to the top of Table Mountain..in fact whatever your heart desires..we are here
to guide you to any destination you wish to visit..!!
