Situated in Parkwood, one of Johannesburg's tree-lined northern suburbs,
Jacaranda Place offers comfortable, attractive Bed & Breakfast accommodation in
two comfortable and attractive suites. Provided you have a local cell phone, we
can offer a FREE collection and drop-off service to the Gautrain Station at
ROSEBANK, which is under a kilometre from Jacaranda Place. This offer is subject
to the availability of our driver.
Suite One
Suite One comprises a large living area with a king size bed, large built in
cupboards, arm chairs and a television. It also has a well-equipped kitchenette
with microwave/convection oven and large fridge/freezer, a large bathroom with
bath and separate shower as well as a secluded shady patio with table and
chairs. It also has its own entrance from the street.
Suite Two
Suite Two also has an outside entrance, which leads into the breakfast nook and
kitchenette with fridge and microwave/convection oven. Adjoining this is a large
bedroom with sitting area, Television and en-suite bathroom with double vanity,
bath and separate shower.
Both suites can be set-up with either a king size bed or twin beds.
Other facilities include: DSTV (shared), wireless Internet connection (free for
'reasonable' use), secure off-street parking, and an alarm linked to a security
company and street security.
Fax and e-mail facilities are also available by arrangement.
A delicious Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, fruit juice, yoghurt,
cereal, muffins and tea & coffee is left in the fridge for guests to help
themselves at their leisure.
Jacaranda Place is situated between Jan Smuts Avenue and Oxford Road, which
facilitates easy access to your temporary home, yet, is far enough away to
ensure that traffic noises have no impact allowing one to enjoy the quiet
tranquillity of the leafy suburb. It is also only 500 metres from the Rosebank
Mall with its abundance of shops, cinemas and restaurants. Rosebank is also home
to the famous 'Rooftop Market', which takes place every Sunday and on Public
Holidays, where every type of craft and home industry can be discovered.
It is a short drive from Sandton and Hyde Park with their up market shops and
boutiques. The popular suburbs of Parkhurst and Greenside with their trendy
pavement restaurants and antique shops are also close by. It has excellent
motorway access and is 25 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport.
Conveniently close to conference centres, theatres, hospitals, Wits and RAU
Universities, The Wanderers and Ellis Park. Other amenities such as golf, gym,
squash, bowls and tennis are also available near by.
