Background information:
We are approximately 50km from Pretoria on the N1 North and part of phase 1 of
the Dinokeng big 5 Reserve.
Situated on the privately owned Pride of Africa Game Reserve with a variety of
game including Eland, Giraffe, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Tsessebe, Red Hartebeest,
Brown Hyena, Impala, Jackal, Kudu, Steenbuck, Waterbuck, Warthog. Leopard and
Rhino can also be seen on the Reserve. There is also a variety of birdlife,
including fish eagle. Lion and Elephant are expected to be introduced during
2010. Traversing rights on 5500Ha this is a malaria free area.
Bush Camp Setup:
Sleeps 12 people. Camp is booked in its entirety - exclusivity and privacy is
guaranteed at this secluded Lodge.
Communal area, with lapa, fire pit, braai facilities, fully equipped kitchen,
including fridge, freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave oven, two toilets,
shower and pool area. Also includes 16 seater dining room/ conference facility with spacious lounge. Lounge has 3 couches, which can be used for kids to sleep on.
Chalet 1 -
bedroom 1 (king size bed), bedroom 2 (two single beds), small kitchenette, toilet, shower/bathroom.
Chalet 2 -
two bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and on suite shower/bathroom and toilet.
Chalet 3 -
two bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and on suite shower/bathroom and toilet.
A small electronic safe is available in every room for guests' personal
belongings.
Chalets are serviced daily.
Additional information:
- Linen, bathroom towels and swimming towels are provided.
- Game drives are available.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner can also be booked through Isilwane at Mongena,
approximately 4km from Isilwane.
- Sunset or day cruises on 20Ha dam approximately 3km from Isilwane can be
booked through Isilwane.
- No smoking in buildings.
- Airport transfers to and from Oliver Tambo international are available.
A tarred landing strip is also situated approximately 7km from the lodge.
