De Waterkant
De Waterkant is a friendly community with restored Cape Dutch and Georgian style buildings which are said to have been built by slaves in the 1700's. You can also find Mosques, Museums and Heritage buildings in De Waterkant which has become unique and very cosmopolitan.

Attractionss:
De Waterkant is situated on Signal Hill which boasts spectacular views as it overlooks Table Bay. On Signal Hill you will find what is called the Noon Gun, where a cannon is fired at 12:00 every day. If you are looking for unique decor or arts and crafts then the Cape Quarter is the place for you. In the City Centre itself you can visit the Two Oceans Aquarium where adults and children can admire the tranquil and amazing underwater sea life. The V&A Waterfront is nearby too and is probably Cape Towns biggest tourist attraction.

Climate:
De Waterkant is on the West Coast and it has a mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and wet, cool winters.
