Tsitsikamma National Park

Tsitsikamma is a Khosian word, meaning "place of abundant water". This incredibly beautiful area is a forest of indigenous plants and old trees such as Yellowwood, Stinkwood and many more. They tower above one another to create a wonderland of greenery around and under you. The fynbos brings gorgeous colour to the forest too and it is a spectacular sight.
The forest is a protected conservation area with gorges and icy pools and beautiful waterfalls within it. There are a number of species of beautiful birds to be seen too.

If you are feeling adventurous then the Tsitsikamma canopy tours is a must for you, this is an awesome breathtaking experience through the indigenous forest and for the not so adventurous, there are exciting and interesting hiking trails through the beautiful forest.
