Shnit – International Short Film Festival
The International Short Film Festival was founded in Switzerland in 2003. It has grown into a festival and offers a large variety of workshops, programmes and film talks each featuring different genre techniques. Dates for this festival are to be confirmed.
The festival will take place in Cape Town in October and it is expected to take locals and visitors by storm. There will be 80 short films shown at 20 screenings. There are 8 different categories chosen from 3,500 entries out of 32 countries. This is definitely a must see. The categories include animated, local, erotic, horror and many more.
There will be prizes and lucky draws during the festival as well as prizes for all the films which will be running.
