Swartland Show
The Swartland Show is an annual event which takes place in Moorreesburg in the Western Cape. This great event will be held from the 7th September 2011 to 10th September 2011. Dates for 2012 are to be confirmed.
The show is well supported and popular amongst locals and visitors from all around the country, with more than 10,000 guests. The Swartland Show is the biggest agricultural show in the Western Cape and each year seems to grow bigger and better.

There is something for everyone, of all ages from fun and games to live music and great eats. Children can enjoy the Cattle Expo and interact and learn about the farm animals. There will be an arts and craft market with a large variety of exhibits, lots of homemade tasty treats from pancakes, braaivleis and potjiekos. Browse the stalls or just relax on the lawn.
Whether you are a farmer or just a visitor, it is an interesting and exciting event. There will be a number of livestock championships hosted which will include horses, cattle and sheep to mention only a few. A spectacular show.

This very popular Swartland Show started off as a small gathering of farmers. The local farmers discussed and exchanged ideas which went from a small show of animals to the biggest agricultural show in the Western Cape. It is fantastic how the Show has grown since.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a day out. The festive atmosphere is electric and the whole family will have fun. Be sure not to miss out.
