The Durban International Film Festival, organized by the Centre for Creative Arts at University of KwaZulu-Natal has announced that its landmark 31st edition will take place from 21 to 31 July 2011. The festival will present more than two hundred screenings of films from across the globe, with a special focus local and African films.
Screenings will take place throughout various venues in Durban including township areas where cinemas are non-existent, and will also offer an in depth seminar and workshop programme featuring local and international filmmakers.
